Mountain Iron-Buhl School Readiness

School Readiness 3  is a fun introduction to the school setting. There will be hands-on learning activities that are developmentally appropriate for three year old children. Students will attend from 8:30 to 12:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. All learning is play- based and presented in an engaging way. This class will help children build self-confidence, develop social skills independent of parents, and introduce academics in a developmentally appropriate way. 

• Children must be 3 years old by September 1st.
• Transportation is not available for School Readiness 3. Parents must transport. 
• There is a monthly fee for the SR3 class. There's also a sliding fee table to determine reduced and waived fees. 
• SR3 orientations will be held on Monday, September 15. Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

School Readiness 4 is designed to get children ready for kindergarten by providing them with hands-on, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning opportunities. The students’ social emotional development is one of the main areas of focus in this class.

•  Children must be 4 years old by September 1st.
•  Transportation is available for 4-year-olds.
•  School Readiness 4/Friday Orientations will be held September 3 & 4. Classes    will begin on Thursday, September 5. ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY.
• There is a monthly fee for the SR4 class. There's also a sliding fee table to determine reduced and waived fees. 
• SR4 orientations will be held on September 3rd and 4th, 2025. Classes will begin on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Friday Wrap Around (for SR4 students only) is an alternative to childcare. It is optional, and there is a fee.

• Children must be 4 years old by September 1st.  
• Transportation is NOT available. Parents must transport. 
• Friday students will not have a separate orientation. They will only attend the SR4 orientation.
• There is a monthly fee for the Friday Wrap Around.  Fees will align with K-6 wrap- around fees.
