Greetings Merritt Friends! I've been teaching at Merritt Elementary since 2007. I thoroughly enjoy this tight knit learning community. I'm from a neighboring Iron Range community, Hibbing, MN. After high school I pursued a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Recently, I added a Special Education License focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder, on-line through Bemidji State University. I plan to complete the program and receive my Master's in Special Education.
I love that each day I get to help children unravel their uniqueness.
