My name is Ketty Goerdt and I am from Lima, Peru. Art, ceramics, and of course Spanish have all been a huge part of my life since I was very young. I have 18 years of experience teaching Spanish and Art at the high school level as well as for college credit on the Iron Range. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature Education in Peru. I currently have 48 credits towards my Master’s degree in Education. Both of these have been accredited through Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) in Milwaukee, WI. I received my teaching license through University Minnesota, Duluth and got my Art certificate from Lake Superior College.
This is my fifth year at MI-B. I am teaching Visual Art, Painting/Ceramics, Spanish I, and Spanish II. I love being able to share my culture, language, and life experiences with my students.
